What is Dragon Engine?
Dragon Engine is a Real Time Strategy Game writen in C++ for the Win32 platform. The goal of the project is to create a game similar to StarCraft/AOEII when it comes to gameplay and graphics.

What about a Linux port?
I have been thinking about this, but it would require a rewrite of large parts of the engine so it's something that will have to wait. But there will probably be a port sometime in the future.

For how long have you been working on Dragon?
I started the project when I first started learning C++ that was about two years ago. So the code has kind of evolved as my programming skills have improved. Some parts of the sourcecode is very old (and ugly). That way you can get a pretty good look at how I designed and wrote a program two years ago. ;-)

What's up with the name?
The name is simply a development name, I haven't decided on a real name for the game yet.

Unfortunatly I will not be able to offer the entier sourcetree (with data files) becaus of bandwidth limitations. I'm on a 56k modem and the sourcetree is about 11Mb (when striped down). Therefor the game will not be compilable, but most of the source will still be there so it's still GPL. ;-)
